Repel Moles

Repel the Mole by Bad Taste and Smell

Moles do not like the taste or smell of castor oil. There are on the market a number of mole repellent products using castor oil as their base. The product is sprayed on the lawn and then watered into the soil. The oil coats the bodies of the earthworms and the grubs that the mole eats. If he eats any oil coated critters he gets a horrendous stomach ache and moves on to less tummy upsetting territory.

In fact, all the ingredients in Liquid Fence Mole Repellent and Mole Repellent Worms are on the EPA's FIFRA 25(b) list of minimal risk ingredients. Our repellent spray is formulated to coat earthworms and grubs, the main sources of food for moles. Our repellent worms imitate a mole's favorite food source. They're made out of real food and impregnated with the same active ingredient in our spray. Once ingested, the repellents will disrupt any mole's digestive system – sending these destructive nuisances elsewhere for food.

Repel the Mole With Soil Vibration

There are on the market a number of products that by various means cause vibrations in the soil over a certain area. We have tested several of these products and did not find them to be very effective. The success of these products probably depends greatly on the type of soil and where in your yard they are placed in respect to the location of the house and other buildings.
