Alyssum will creep around rock gardens, on rock walls, and along the edges of beds. It is an excellent choice for seeding into cracks and crevices of walkway and patio stones, and once established it readily reseeds. Alyssum spills gently over the edges of window-boxes and softens the sides of planters. Its fine texture contrasts with larger-leafed, coarser annuals such as Geraniums and Wax Begonias.
