Bailey Acacias are graceful and desirable for their yellow flowers and interesting foliage. They're used as street trees to provide light to medium shade. They're also good for screens, and for stabilizing and hiding slopes and banks. When working them into your garden plan, remember that they only live 20 to 30 years.
Cutting/Interior Design: Cut flowering branches any time of day. To make them last longer indoors, slit the cut ends and bruise the adjacent bark to allow the branches to absorb more water.
