This tree is very versatile. The Goldenchain tree makes a lovely specimen in small yards, especially if you have a spot that can use some bright color in late spring and early summer. It’s explosion of color is multiplied many fold when planted in groups of three or five. It is also a good tree for a border or beside a patio or deck. The Goldenchain can even be grown in a container and kept pruned to a small size. To add to its flexibility this tree can be trained to grow over an arbor, pergola or other structure. It makes a stunning landscape feature when pruned into an espalier.
