10 Year Old Arborvitae Tree Is Starting To Brown On One Side

Question From: New Castle, Pennsylvania, United States
Q: I have 50 Arborvitae trees along my drive. 1 was nearly decimated by bag worm. I cut out the dead branches and have since had them sprayed. This year I noticed one of the older plants (10 tears since planting) starting to brown out on 1 side, don't know what to do. Any advice?

If they were my arbs I would get an onsite inspection from a certified arborist. You have a huge investment in these trees and self-medicating them is not the way to. To find a professional in your area go to www.tcia.org and enter your zip code. Get references and check them out. Best Nancy
