Alliums Have No Flowers

Question From: S. Gebeloff - NEW JERSEY
Q: Good morning. My alliums have wonderful green foliage, but no flowers yet. I'm in zone 6a. They're in full sun. Is this normal, is it too early in the season to expect flowers or should I dig them up and check condition of bulbs? Thank you!

Depends on the kind of alliums your growing. Some bloom in spring and others later in the season. Identify your plant before you do anything. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
