Ants On Zinnias

Question From: D. Jones - NORTH CAROLINA
Q: Orange looking ants ? On zinnas

Ants don't usually bother zinnias, but they are attracted to the honey dew given off by aphids. Check the undersides of the leaves to check for them. You might also take a couple of samples to an independent garden center for an accurate ID and control. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
