Apples Dry Up And Turn Brown While Still On Branches

Question From: C. Taylor - Lancaster, California, United States
Q: Can you help me identify what the problem is with my apple trees. We recently purchased our new home which has several fruit trees. I don't even know what kind of apples these are. However I believe my fruit trees are diseased. The apple trees have several fallen apples all on which have a worm home and or a bruised soft spot on the apple, both in the tree and on The ground. Many apple are drying up and durning brown while still on the branches

My answer is the same Cyndee, I do not diagnose diseases of trees. Please have your trees inspected by a certified arborist. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
