Q: I have 3 Arborvitae planted 14 months ago. The bud tips appear to be turning brown. Is this of great concern to me ?
A: Any time the tips of branches turn brown there is a problem. We went from cool wet weather to hot dry weather in a day. Tender new growth may have been a bit scorched. Check the protected sides of the shrubs and see if the tips are browned. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
