Arborvitaes Bent After Heavy Snow

Question From: WISCONSIN
Q: Due to heavy snow this winter, my aborvitaes have some main branches bending away from other branches. What used to look like a single unit now is a unit with one or two curved branches and some straight up. ,The aborvitae are about 10 to 12 feet tall (there are 5 of them) and about 10-15 years old.. Should they be tired up? Cut off? Ignored?

The arbs may or may not straighten themselves out. If you choose to tie them up do it gradually so the trunks don't crack. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
