Bald Cypress Has Not Blossomed Normally And What Type Of Soil Do They Like

Question From: N. Shores - Fernandina Beach, Florida, United States
Q: Is there a specific ph required or soil type that's best for bald cypress? Best to plant near our pond? It has not blossomed like it should. We are on the Northeast Coast of Florida, near the GA line.

Sun and rich acid soil will make these trees happy. Lack of water may also be an issue. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
