Bald Cypress Needs Iron

Question From: M. Zaruba - Frisco, Texas, United States
Q: I realize my bald cypress needs iron by its chartreuse color. I have been adding iron with sulfur to the soil and it has helped, but not a lot. What would you recommend I do now? Thank you.

It takes time for these elements to break down to the point the plant can use them. You might try using liquid Ironite according to package directions. A soil test from your local extension will tell you what more your shrub needs. Best Nancy

Comment: Thanks for that info. I will find some of the liquid since I have been using the granular for over a year and it is obviously not working.
