Q: A Bartlett pear tree, about4 years old, central Pennsylvania. During the middle of the summer last year, the leaves suddenly turned black and the tree died. The tree had been growing nicely an had acropolis pearson it. I alkyd to another person two miles away who had exactly the same thing happen to his larger and older peartree. Any ideas woul b hlpul.
