Question From: J. Gittemeier - Hazelwood, Missouri, United States
Q: I read for a bird bath the best place to put it, is southeast under a cover. what kind of cover and wouldn't that keep the birds from seeing it? I have a bird bath on my deck rail but it's not under cover. had it for 2 months with a water wiggled and not 1 bird has used it. any idea So?
A: Birds do not like to use bird baths located out in the open where they are in clear view of enemies. Cover can be branches of a shrub or tree. Water in bird baths in full sun can get very hot on sunny days. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
