Question From: Hayward, Wisconsin, United States
Q: My bleeding heart has white spots on its leaves. What is causing this?
A: Sounds like powdery mildew or it may be a form of rust. A product called ACTINOVATE sprayed on the plant every 7 to 10 days should take care of it. If it is a classic bleeding heart you can also cut it back as they usually go dormant around this time of year. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
