Blueberry Bush Is Almost Dead From Lack Of Water

Question From: K. Baker - WASHINGTON
Q: My son brought me a blueberry bush today that is just about dead. He forgot to water it. Is there anything I can do to help it. Should I prune off the dead parts now or wait.

More important than cutting off the dead parts is to water it well. You might get lucky. Water it daily for the next two weeks and see if the leaves that are left survive. Do not fertilize it until next spring. Good Luck and Happy Yardening, Nancy
