Boston Ivy Gets Lots Of Brown Spots

Question From: Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States
Q: My Boston ivy got lots of brown spots and I think got a fungus. Will this affect the plant next year? Is there anything I should do during the winter? Thank you.

My guess is it's lack of moisture. Be sure to clean up and dispose of all the leaves and if you see any sign of damage in spring spray it with a fungicide. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
