Question From: P. Walters - Castle Rock, Colorado, United States
Q: We have beautiful, large Shasta Daisys. They sent up large flowers at first and now the bottom leaves are turning brown and the new buds are quite small. We have had a very hot summer and I do water them regularly. (they water when the grass waters and by hand the in-between days)
A: My guess is it's the heat. Plants shut down when the temps rise into to 90's and watering helps to keep them alive, but it's not a cure. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
