Butterfly Bush Leaves Are Droopy And Limp

Question From: L. Moffatt - ARKANSAS
Q: I recently purchased a butterfly bush, which my husband planted. The leaves are droopy and limp. Did we murder this bush?

Two. issues come to mind. Lack of water or freezing temps at night. The foliage on these bushes are not frost hardy. Keep it well watered and it may produce a new flush of leaves. The soil must be kept moist. Best Nancy and Happy Gardening
