Butterfly Bush Leaves Are Droopy And Limp

Question From: L. Moffatt - ARKANSAS
Q: I recently purchased a butterfly bush, which my husband planted. The leaves are droopy and limp. Did we murder this bush?

A: Two. issues come to mind. Lack of water or freezing temps at night. The foliage on these bushes are not frost hardy. Keep it well watered and it may produce a new flush of leaves. The soil must be kept moist. Best Nancy and Happy Gardening
