Can A Hydrangea Be Pruned In Ohio In Early September

Question From: L. Essen - Harrison, Ohio, United States
Q: Can I prune a Hydrangia tree at the first of sept in ohio

I don't recommend pruning any hydrangeas at this time of year. You need to identify what kind of hydrangea you are asking about. Take a photo of the tree to an independent garden center or nursery that sells these plants for an accurate ID and method of pruning. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
