Can Aster Be Transplanted In September

Question From: MICHIGAN
Q: I planted an aster way too close to a mum in the spring and now it's looking like it's dying due to no sun. Can I transplant it now? I feel like even if it dies after transplant, I haven't lost anything as I don't think it's going to survive. Any suggestions?

A: Go for it. Just be sure to keep it well watered. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
