Can Coreopsis Be Transplanted While Blooming

Question From: Woodland, Michigan, United States
Q: Is it safe to transplant a coreopsis while blooming

A: You can transplant, however you will probably loose the blooms. Water it well the day before and daily for a week or so. I would not transplant when the temp reach into the 80s if you hope to keep it flowering. Do not fertilize it. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
