Question From: Bolivar, Missouri, United States
Q: I rent a home and I am going to pick up a tree tomorrow from Arbor I have a choice of a Kousa Dogwood or a Carolina Silver Bells, The landlord doesnt want me to plant the tree in the middle of the yard so Im thinking maybe the Kousa might be a better choice, the Carolina would be planted by a small creek. But my question is can either one of these trees be planted in containers for a patio tree? Thank you so much
A: Any tree can be planted in a container. Think bonsai! You will have to root prune and branch prune it yearly to keep it alive. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
