Question From: k. churchill - Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States
Q: I have a huge licorice plant and wonder if it is worth trying to winter in the house. I live in Minnesota. Cannas also? and if so how? Thanks
A: Your helichysum petiolare can be over wintered indoors but it may be a challenge. It needs a southern exposure, Water is the big issue as it is prone to root rot. Keep the soil moist but not sodden. That might mean twice a week or every other day - more or less. Use your finger to test. Good Luck Nancy
