Q: My healthy 8' tall arborvitaes appear to have divided into two trees side by side. Smart side says leave them alone. Can one tree become two separate trees? ed
A: Listen to your inner voice. Probably a split trunk connected at the base. If you could divide them each would have a bare side. Not pretty. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
