Can Weigela Be Planted In Early Spring

Question From: MISSOURI
Q: can you plant weigela in early spring

Jim, if the plant is leafed out you need to wait until the nights are frost free. If it has not budded out you can plant it as soon as the ground can be worked. Remember the leaves and buds are tender and will be damaged or killed by frost. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
