Chrysanthemums Are Wilting At Bottom Of Plant

Question From: V. Malafronte - Vista, California, United States
Q: Nancy, My Chrysanthemum's look like they are wilting at the bottom of the plant. I planted a full size ones from Home Depot. Is this wilting normal for the plant? Thank you, Victor

It is not normal. Could be some sort of fungal disease. I'd take them back. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy

Q: Nancy, Thank you for your reply. The flowers on my Mum's are turning brown. Is this because the Mums are getting too much sun? Thank you, Victor

Victor, these flowers have a short life span, at best a few weeks. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
