Question From: T. KOCHANNY - ILLINOIS
Q: MY CLIMBING ROSE HAS NOT BLOOMED IN FOUR YEARS. LOOKS HEALTHY; ABOUT 6 FT. TALL. OTHER NEARBY ROSES DO BLOOM. ANY SUGGESTION? THANKS
Plants usually fail to flower from too much nitrogen, too little sun and in the case of you climber it may be winter damage. I suggest you cut it back. Go easy on the fertilizer. Rose Tone from Espoma is a good choice. It needs 5 gallons of water a week. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
