Climbing Rose Leaves Are Turning White Drying And Curling

Question From: Newcastle, Ontario, Canada
Q: My 8 year old climber has overall bleaching of leaves (white stippling, drying, curling), progressive to tips. It is a low light area and we have had a very wet spring.

A: Take a cutting of the infected area ( in a sealed bag) to your independent garden center that sells roses for an accurate ID. Roses need 6 hours or more of direct sun a day so it will continue to struggle. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
