Connection Between Regular Hose And Soaker Hose Leaks A Lot Of Water

Question From: Montgomery, Alabama, United States
Q: I am trying to set up a soaker hose. The soaker hose has a disk with a small hole in the front end, but the regular hose I am trying to attach it to, does not have a washer. I have not been able to get a washer in the end of the regular hose as it is too small in diameter. When I attach the 2 ends, it leaks a lot of water. What am I doing wrong?

You need to get a washer for that hose. Contact the manufacturer or look on line for one that will fit. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
