Coral Vine Leaves And Stems Are Turning Brown Near Base Of Plant

Question From: L. Boehm - Willis, Texas, United States
Q: I have a coral vine which I believe has a fungal leaf spot. the leaves and stems are turning brown at the base of the plant. Is there anything I can do? This is the second year this has happened.

Lynda, Coral Vine is not hardy where I live and dig ( Michigan) and I have been unable to find anything on how to treat fungal diseases that attack it. I recommend you refer this question to the Texas A & E extension service in your county. To locate it go to http://agrilife.org/locations/. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
