Q: this is the second summer for my 2 coral bells. First year no bloom stalks. this year beautiful leaves and lots of bloom stalks, but NO bells on the flowers. Never had that problem in years past. Sunny locations, good drainage. Ideas?
A: Too much fertilizer could be the problem. Excessive heat and lack of water may also be the issue. Too much sun may also be an issue. Coral bells so best in areas that are in shade in the afternoon. If any of these issues ring a bell, move the plants. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
