Cosmos Plants Are Healthy Buy Produce No Flowers

Question From: NEW JERSEY
Q: I live in New Jersey, zone 6. I planted cosmos flower seeds in a raised bed garden. The plants have grown tall and look very healthy, but have no flowers. Any thoughts as to why there are no flowers? Many thanks.

A: Lack of flowers is usually attributed to lack sun and/or excessive use of high nitrogen fertilizer. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
