Cotoneaster Leaves Are Curling After Transportation

Question From: B. Uhler - Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States
Q: Just purchased 3 gal cotoneaster franchetii from a nursery. After transporting 50 mi and a thorough watering, noticed what appears to be leaf curl on outer branches.Kindly advise spray I should use. Than you,Burnham Uhler

Any chance you transported the plant in the open back of a truck? If so it's suffering from leaf burn in addition to dehydration. There is no spray that will repair the damage. Keep it well watered and hope for the best. Thanks for visiting Yardener.com. Nancy
