Crepe Myrtle Leaves Are Browning On Edges

Question From: Flagler Beach, Florida, United States
Q: We planted a crape myrtle last fall. It has lots of leaves and blooms that are ready to open but the leaves are browning on the edges. Our water system runs 45min twice a week. Is there something else I nee to do?

A: Joan, I would get an onsite inspection from a certified arborist. To find one in your area go to www.tcia.org and enter your zip code. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
