Crepe Myrtle Tree Has Orange Green Color And Has Not Bloomed

Question From: H. Nelson - Harker Heights, Texas, United States
Q: we have a huge crepe myrtle. the trunk has an orange / green cast to it and has not bloomed as yet. Can you advise what to do. This is the first year our tree has not bloomed. thank you. we live in central Texas.

Helen, every landscape is different and I do not have a crystal ball. If it were my treasured tree or shrub I would have a tree doctor, a  certified arborist do an onsite inspection for a diagnosis. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
