Cucumber Plants Have No Blossoms

Question From: Grand Prairie, Texas, United States
Q: I have been growing cucumbers for a long time and this is the first time that I don't have any blossoms on the plants. The plants are growing vertically up a cage like I do every year at this time they are about 4 ft. up the cage but no blossoms. Normally I grow Marketmore 76 but these are pickling cucumbers which I have never grown before what is the difference in the way they are grown

Lack of flowers is usually due to too much nitrogen fertilizer and or lack of sun. Cukes need six hours or more a day. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
