Question From: SOUTH CAROLINA
Q: I can't keep up with the accumulation of rotting leaves under Lambs' Ear each year. Can I prune the whole area to ground level....and will it come back alright? If yes, when is best time? I'm in South Carolina. Thank you!
You can cut them back any time the leaves get funky. I cut them back to a few inches in height. You might consider replacing the specie with Big Ears, "Helen Von Stein'. It holds up better in hot muggy weather.. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
