Question From: T. Steffen - Hancock, Wisconsin, United States
Q: My daisy leaves have black spots all over them. What is this from?
A: Your daisies have a fungal disease known as leaf spot. The time to treat it with a fungicide was when the first sign of the disease appeared. When you cut them back this fall clean up and dispose of all plant material on the ground as well as the cuttings. Take samples of the diseased foliage to an independent garden center for an accurate ID and form of control to use next season. Get on top of it early. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
