Daisy Plant Leaves Turn Yellow Then Brown Then Black Moving Up The Plant And The Plants Die

Question From: Nine Mile Falls, Washington, United States
Q: My daisy plants have have something wrong with them. Some of them have leaves at the bottom that are changing from green to yellowish then brown and almost black. It moves up the plant where they look wilted and the whole plant dies. It looks as if it spreads amongst the plants one by one. I looked online for anything that looks like this and couldn't find any pictures. Please help!

Sounds like a virus, for which there is no remedy. Remove all infected plants before you loose the entire stand. Best Nancy
