Daphne Blooms Are Not Fully Opening And Plant Is Wilted

Question From: Emmet, Arkansas, United States
Q: my daphne is in a substantial pot and s established however this year the flowers are many but not opening fully and the plant looks wilted can you suggest why hope you csn help

Wilting is usually caused by lack of water or too much water. If you suffered unusually hot weather this year it could be suffering from heat stress. Moving it to a position that is protected from hot afternoon sun may be your best bet. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
