Question From: p. webster - Penwortham, , United Kingdom
Q: I planted 2no daphne eternal fragrance this summer in large containers by my rear patio doors. They flowered but in winter have lost quite a lot of leaves but some are reappearing lower down the stems. Is this ok or is something wrong
A: I can't answer that Philip as I live in Michigan (USA), zone 5 and cannot grow them in my garden. I do know they dislike wet feet so if they are in a container outdoors it might be best to place them in a covered position if you are experiencing heavy rains. They are short lived plants so take that into consideration. Check with your local independent nursery that sell these plants for more advice. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
