Question From: Ukiah, California, United States
Q: I have 2 five year old Deodar Cedars planted in my front yard. About 2 weeks ago one of them started dropping a lot of green needles. The tree looks healthy with lots of needles. What could be the reason for dropping the green needles?
A: I can't answer that Larry. Could be several reasons. Too much water, not enough water, chemical burn, such as liquid fertilizer or a pesticide. I suggest you have a professional take a look at them. To find one in your area go to www.tcia.org and enter your zip code. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
