Q: I currently have two Nellie R Stevens holly trees both containing red berries. Do I need to plant a male Chinese holly for them to continue to make red berries?
A: It may produce some fruit without a male but to get a good crop you will need a male to pollinate them next season. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
