Question From: Rhode Island, United States
Q: you don't mention the deer repellent packs as a possible solution to deer eating hosta plants in summer. It seems to be a coyote urine chemical in a granulated state. Does it work?
A: I have not had luck with Coyote urine products. My product of choice is PlantSkydd. Made of bovine blood it's every effective and works on rabbits and squirrels as well. I use the liquid for deer and the granular for rabbits. It lasts for about 4 to 6 weeks. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
