Q: If you are using two soaker hoses linked together should you remove the pressure reduction gasket between the union of the two hoses, or just have one at the beginning?
A: Sam, you need to measure how much is coming out of the second hose. Jeff used to bury tuna fish cans under the hoses and run the water full tilt for half an hour and do the math. I have no experience with soaker hoses as my well water contains to many fine particulates and they clog up in a matter of weeks.
