Q: I also have an old rabbits foot fern that the fronds are sticky and the sticky gets on the floor. I do not have the ant problem. Do you think it is scale or aphids. How do I treat this?
A: Sticky residue usually comes from aphids. You can spray the plant withCaptain Jack's Dead Bug Brew from Bonide. I'd give it shower to wash off the sticky stuff. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
