Question From: Dallas, Texas, United States
Q: Hello! Warm weather has finally arrived, and I am so happy to be back in my garden. As someone who suffers from fibromyalgia, gardening has been a lifesaver for me. It has allowed me to work through the depression and anxiety I’ve had about my chronic illness, in addition to providing me with a type of physical activity that has proven to be highly therapeutic. Gardening benefits the mind, body, and soul. It provides stress relief, physical activity, and stimulation for the brain. I’d love to spread the word to other people with chronic illnesses about what gardening can do for us inside and out. Can I write an article for you about the health benefits of gardening? I think your readers might find my suggestions and insight useful. Let me know if you’re interested and I can get started right away. All the best, Maria
A: Maria, we do not accept articles such as this, but I suggest you contact some of the gardening magazines. Google gardening magazines for a list and contacts. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
