Douglas Fir Trees Have Needlecast

Question From: B. Baker - Ridgely, Maryland, United States
Q: Our local Christmas tree farmer has suggested that 3 of 7 our Douglas Firs have needlecast. Is there anything I can do to save them?

A: You should have an onsite inspection by a certified arborist. Your other trees are at risk so do not delay. To find a professional in your area go to www.tcia.org. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
