Q: I HAVE THE TRUE DWARF BOXWOOD--BUXUS SEMPERVIRENS SUFFRUTICOSA. 33 OF THEM. SOME OF THEM ,ABOUT HALF HAVE YELLOWED LEAVES THAT ARE TURNING IN. BRANCHES ARE SHOWING .I AM WONDERING IF THE ARE DYING. SHOULD I USE ORGANIC PLANT TONE ALL PURPOSE PLANT FOOD.
A: Brett, They may have a fungal disease, water issues, heat stress and/or pest problems. Fertilizer will not help. I recommend you have a certified arborist do and on-site inspection. You have a big investment in these shrubs. Have a professional look at them. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
